She has also been commissioned as on-site calligrapher in New York and Beverly Hills for Gucci’s Celebrity Fundraisers, in addition to Shanghai, for an Estée Lauder Global Leadership Conference. Her local on-site work for corporate and arts organizations in San Francisco include Louis Vuitton, Barneys New York, Quince Restaurant and San Francisco Museums of Fine Arts.
Barbara’s specialty areas include custom calligraphy for wedding and corporate invitations and other calligraphic needs for social events. She also creates unique lettering solutions for product packaging, headlines, logos, custom copy and greeting cards, book and magazine editorial articles.
Growing up in a Long Island suburb of NYC, Barbara always had an interest in art. Since her first introduction to lettering in junior high, she has been pursuing the art of calligraphy.
Barbara’s travels to California as an adult introduced her to a melange of calligraphy classes and workshops and she has been joyfully creating letters on the west coast to this day.
“Barbra’s work is nonpareil. My company has used her for multiple events and we’ve consistently been thrilled with her beautiful work!”
